Delicious! Everything is prepared right in front of you and it is fantastic. The gyoza were like happy little pillows and the edamame were the freshest and tastiest we'd ever had. The food is presented simply and elegantly -- the chef trusts in the quality of the dishes. The place is small and absolutely bustling and service is efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back!
Incredibly tasty sushi! Have been a patron of their establishment multiple times and I've always left a happy tummy and a happy smile! The staff are very friendly and accommodating - which can also be felt through the food. Would highly recommend for people looking to have some top-quality sushi in Aberdeen, dine-in or delivery!
I absolutely adore JW Sushi! Amazing food, lovely staff and very affordable for sushi! Found this on my freshers week of university two years ago and I haven’t stopped going since! I recommend JWs to all my friends, and to anyone who wants to try some yummy sushi!
Decided to place an order this evening, food came quickly and was delivered by one of the chefs-John. Amazing food and pristine presentation. They even took precaution to wrap the tub of soy sauce! They definitely did not fail to produce the best experience! I will be returning many more times
We went to J.W. for a spontaneous dinner and really loved the food and chefs. We got some great sushi made freshly in front of us for a very reasonable price. Even better for having no corkage and allowing us to grab a bottle of wine around the corner. Looking forward to come back!
Me and my partner come in all the time, I don’t personally eat fish (I know.. criminal) but they have alternative rolls that have veg or I usually get the chicken gyoza!! It’s SO yummy!!! :D they are really cool guys lovely atmosphere the music is nice (changes from night to night(I think they are liking French music currently lol)) anyway! SUSHI FROM HERE IS GREAT WOOWOO!!!
This was our first time in Aberdeen and after spending two weeks in the highlands (Ballater) we were craving sushi. After an afternoon exploring the city center, we came across JW's Sushi, and we were really happy we did. While it is not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination, it really served some amazing sushi. My wife ordered a tuna poke bowl, I ordered a firecracker roll, and we shared a unavi roll. The poke bowl had some incredibly fresh tuna, red pepper, cucumber avocado, green onions, sesame seeds, and rice. There was lots of tuna and it was delicious. The other ingredients were all very fresh and tastes great. My firecracker roll was shrimp tempura, avocado, and cucumber, sureounded by rice. The roll was wrapped in very fresh, delicious salmon. The rolls were toped with Sriracha and Sriracha mayo. It was perfect. The unagi roll was eel, avocado, and cucumber, wrapped in rice and the roll was wrapped in seaweed. I am generally not a huge eel fan (Stacy is), but this roll was really good. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever get back to Aberdeen we will definitely be back to JW's Sushi.
